About Our Church

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Sayreville!

We are excited that you want to know more about us and we sincerely hope you will visit us soon! We are a welcoming, friendly, accepting, ethnically and culturally diverse Christian church that has been located on this site since 1882. Our program is biblically based and our membership looks to increase its community outreach by learning and sharing the love of God at a time when that love is needed more than ever.

Our Sunday morning worship services are held at 10:30 AM, September through June, and 9:30 AM in July and August. Copies of our bulletins are located in our “Connect” page.

Sunday School is available for children at 9:15 AM on Sunday mornings, September through May. Please contact the church office for more information. All children are welcome to attend the school!

Immediately after the Sunday morning service, you are invited to our Coffee Hour held in our Christian Education Hall. This is a great time to get to know everyone and enjoy Christian fellowship!

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is observed the first Sunday of
each month, as well as Maundy Thursday, Easter and Christmas Eve. All who are baptized in the Christian faith are welcome to participate.
